Is resolutioner a word9/27/2023 Fear of finances, missing my calling, not living in God’s will for my life, etc. As I learned to live fearlessly in 2020, the Lord showed me that fear was keeping me from enjoying His rest. My verse for the year is found in Matthew 11:28, “ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” I have been involved in ministry for over 25 years and have not once taken time to rest. Little did I know what 2020 would hold and how deeply I would need to step into living FEARLESS and allowing the Lord to teach me how to live with power, love, and a sound-mind.Ģ021: REST is the word the Lord led me to for 2021. So in 2020, I began to learn to live FEARLESS through the power of God and the wisdom of His Word. “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” After working through RENEWAL in 2019, the Lord showed me that I was plagued by fear and anxiety in my mind. My verse of the year is found in 2 Timothy 1:6-7. 2019 began that process.Ģ020: FEARLESS is the word the Lord led me to for 2020. Renewal isn’t just a 365-day process, but a lifetime of being renewed and transformed into the image of Jesus. ![]() “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” The Lord walked me through the beginnings of healing my depression and anxiety during and taught me how to renew my mind to line up to His Word. He showed me areas that were buried deep down that needed healing and He showed me areas that needed to be renewed which led me to my word for 2019.Ģ019: RENEW was my word for 2019 and I clung to Romans 12:2. The last seven years had taken their toll on me, and I stood believing for the Lord’s divine healing on my life. This year, I needed God to heal my mind, body, and soul. My verse is found in Isaiah 61:1-4, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound ”. He gave me direction, and He made the vision plain.Ģ018: HEALING was my word for 2018. ![]() If it seems slow, wait for it it will surely come it will not delay.” The Lord moved mightily in 2017 as my purpose became very clear. For still the vision awaits its appointed time it hastens to the end-it will not lie. ![]() And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. My verse was found in Habakkuk 2:1-3, “I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint. My verse was Nehemiah 8:10b, “And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” 2015 was such a difficult year that in 2016 I wanted to focus on finding joy in all circumstances even the difficult ones.Ģ017: PURPOSE was my word for 2017. ![]() Although it was a painful year, He began the process of perfecting me according to His image.Ģ016: JOY was my word. He showed me areas in my life that weren’t lining up with His will. My verse was found in Matthew 5:48, “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” As I submitted to His teaching and perfection, the Holy Spirit began illuminating to me areas in my life that didn’t match who God created me to be.
